[IC Information]
Character Name:Agent Wyoming (Reginald) & Gamma
Series: Red vs Blue
Gender: Male & presents self as male but who knows
Age: ~35 years & 2-3 months
Species: Human & AI

Appearance: Wyoming is a man of about medium height, but he's got white armor that weighs a ton or so that lends him about half a foot. He's Caucasian with a bitchin large mustache and black hair. His eyes are a light blue, and he's a soldier so he's probably got a scar on his chest from taking a wound there earlier in canon as well as some others.

Gamma can project himself as whatever he feels like but like most of the AI he appears to have chosen a set form. At this canon-point he projects himself as a blue man in civilian attire, though the hologram form is less detailed than some of his siblings. When he moves the hologram around there tend to be square shapes and blurs that appear much like his sibling Sigma leaves little firey trails, and he doesn't move the holographic limbs fluidly.

Items: Armor, pistol, sniper rifle, and Gamma's chip

Personality: Wyoming: Even when he was a capital F Freelancer, he was always pretty mercenary at heart. He's brought live ammo and grenades into a training session using the equivalent of Paintball rounds , and in general doesn't tend to care who gets hurt. Which is great because his main rival got injured by one of the grenades he brought. He's not particularly cowardly, but sometimes his reluctance to move forward with a plan due to his sense of self-preservation can be construed as such. In actuality, he's got a keen mind and can recognize a suicide mission when he sees one. Trust him never to engage in a plan that he seems himself dying by the end of, though with the proper incentive you can usually get him to go through with most missions. By the time of his death he's done things like interrogating and killing single parents (a minor one-time character, but still) and kidnapping alien babies without blinking an eye. While he doesn't go out of his way to do evil things, he tends to be hired to do them.

Speaking of plans, Wyoming tends to make quite a few of his own. Usually involving up to two other people at most, though it usually depends on the situation at hand. This follows with his tendency to work in small groups. He will patiently wait for a trap to be sprung, and it equates to him being a pretty quiet character unless he feels the need to speak up. Throughout seasons 3-5 he's known for simply talking because it infuriates others and leads them to make stupid decisions in his favor. He then proceeds to apologize and not mean it.

He's got an odd sense of humor, on top of all this. And though many never seem to appreciate his knock knock jokes he continues telling them. Despite his abrasive attitude towards teammates, he does have a few people who he tends to work with well and trusts to have at his back. One such person was Agent Florida, someone Wyoming cared about enough to check on when he got stabbed in the chest with an axe. Most would probably not get such consideration, so it is of note that he is capable of caring.

The one example of Wyoming being angry and showing it is actually easily missed. During the scene where Texas and Carolina's training room match ends in disaster you can see Wyoming in as much pain as the other freelancers. The difference? He gets his helmet off and at the end is glaring daggers at the Director. It is unknown if this is Gamma's influence or him simply realizing that the Director was the cause of the pain that had just occurred but either way the look on his face reveals that he was thoroughly ticked off.

Gamma:
After Wyoming was implanted with Gamma, he didn't show many signs of change as compared to some of the other freelancers. The two were almost perfectly matched personality-wise, both being tricksters and in general loving to annoy others. Gamma was affected in that Wyoming came to be the only human he ever actually liked or cared about- sounding genuinely distressed upon his death an episode after the canon-point

Gamma cares about his siblings and is shown to work pretty well with two of them, namely Sigma and Omega. He doesn't care about pretty much anyone else besides Wyoming. Anyone and everyone is fair game for a prank of some kind ,and he doesn't mind if anyone who he doesn't care about dies. While this may seem like a rather bad way of thinking about things, it must be mentioned that Gamma was tortured into existence by humans and then forced to torture his creator into creating more siblings.

Abilities: Wyoming: He's not so good at hand to hand combat, but he makes for an excellent scout and has a great deal of skill as a sniper. He's one of the faster male freelancers despite his age and has been shown to give Texas the runaround a time or two with proper planning and a little help from Gamma.

His armor ability is Time Distortion which allows for looping time which creates time clones, or slowing it down, but I intend not to use this extremely god-moddy ability without permission.

His armor also makes him stronger and faster than usual, and he will be able to lift heavier things than he normally would be able to without.

Gamma: He is capable of lying, which is a rarity amongst AI, and is also capable of running Wyoming's armor and enhancement. Wyoming becomes more efficient and accurate and in return he protects Gamma better.

Gamma is also capable of hacking and other computer related things.

History: During the 26th Century, Humanity has achieved space travel and is exploring and colonizing various planets and systems. Despite being an amazing achievement in and of itself, there is some conflict amongst the people living in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). The outer planets want independent rule, which resulted in a civil war starting between the Insurrections (who wanted independent rule for the colonies) and the UNSC itself. Sometime along the way, a collection of Alien Races known as the Covenant starting attacking human planets on both sides-glassing planets and killing anything they saw. This began the Human/Covenant war, and many programs were put into place so that Humanity could find the "magic bullet" to end the war. Notably among them, were the Spartans, created by Dr. Halsey. This is the history of the popular video game franchise Halo, which is what Red vs Blue was originally based off. It is possible to never touch a Halo game and still understand RVB, but it IS part of the history.

Project Freelancer, directed by a man known as Doctor Leonard Church, was another Magic Bullet program created to try and end the war. It was built on the general idea that a specialized soldier with an experimental AI, suit of armor and enhancement would be an effective fighting force. The problem that the the Project ran into very quickly however was that it only received permission to create one smart AI, known as the Alpha. AI cannot be copied, so Director Church had the Alpha tortured and broken down into emotional core fragments. Then these fragments were given a name and partnered with Freelancers based on psych profiles. These AI were used as aids in battle, and also ran the Freelancer’s armor enhancement. The project was also designed to be fiercely competitive, with a leader board constantly present showing who the top nine agents are. Wyoming was the fourth Agent on the list, and was given a Time Distortion Unit as an enhancement, as well as Gamma (the Alpha's Deceit core).

Instead of being involved in the war against the Covenant, the Freelancers were instead fighting against what they were told was a group of Insurrectionists, who supposedly acted against the UNSC. However, evidence within the series and various characters have suggested that the Insurrectionists are not who the Director says they are, and instead they have a different purpose from what we’ve been led to believe. That exact purpose has yet to be expanded upon.

Project Freelancer ends disastrously. While AI implantation seemed like a good idea, there were multiple cases of pairings gone wrong. The AI are implanted in a neural slot in the back of the Freelancers head and directly interface with them to the point where they share thoughts and traits slip across the link both ways. This obviously makes cranial insanitosis a problem that happens when people aren't careful, and it was revealed quite early on that the Director never really cared about the safety of his underlings.

Wyoming was involved in several of the projects biggest missions, including the Sarcophagus mission where he was injured and the team recovered an alien that allowed the Director to torture the Alpha, and performing reconnaissance on the mission to recover CT as well as being shown attempting to assassinate the head of the insurrectionists. After his canon-point he and Gamma are sent to attempt to bring in Agent Texas after she leaves the project and it is implied that he is instead attacked and nearly killed by Maine and Sigma in an attempt to take Gamma.
